Extra Help is a Part D subsidy. Bridge is not Part D.

Extra Help / Low-Income Subsidy can lower Part D cost-sharing. It does not reduce the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge $50 and does not apply to manufacturer cash.

What Extra Help attaches to

Extra Help (LIS) reduces Part D premiums and copays for people who qualify. It is administered in the Part D world.

It does not attach to the GLP-1 Bridge $50. It does not attach to LillyDirect or NovoCare cash. It does not legalize a commercial savings card on Medicare.

When LIS does nothing

Plan exclusion for weight-management GLP-1s. Bridge demonstration months. Cash months. A closed Bridge file because a 2026 Part D GLP-1 already filled — LIS does not reopen it.

Applying

Extra Help is a Social Security / Medicare application, not a VitalHound feature and not a Bridge form. Do not send LIS paperwork to the demonstration processor and expect a cheaper $50.

Questions

I have Extra Help. Is Bridge $0?
No. Bridge remains $50 if you use that path.
Does LIS count toward TrOOP in a useful way?
Part D rules for how subsidized amounts treat TrOOP are a plan-year question. Bridge amounts still do not enter that story.
Can LIS pay manufacturer cash?
No.
Who do I call?
Social Security or Medicare for Extra Help status. The plan pharmacy line for a Part D copay. The clinician for a Bridge PA.
