The date
Unless CMS publishes an extension, 31 December 2027 is the last day of the $50 demonstration for Wegovy (pen and pill), Foundayo, and Zepbound KwikPen.
There is no personal anniversary clock. Starting in November 2027 does not gift a year.
What does not carry over
Unused months. TrOOP credit that never existed. Extra Help that never attached. A KwikPen-only listing that lived only on the demonstration file.
What to shop before the date
2028 Part D or MA formularies during 15 October–7 December 2027. Manufacturer cash lists. Commercial coverage if the person will have it.
Do not wait for a 2 January reject to discover the plan never listed the NDC.
2026 AEP is not the cliff shop
Autumn 2026 chooses 2027 coverage while Bridge still exists. Use it to keep a usable pharmacy home. Use autumn 2027 to survive 2028.
