KwikPen: the only Zepbound presentation on Bridge

KwikPen is a specific injectable presentation. Medicare GLP-1 Bridge lists Zepbound KwikPen only. Other Zepbound devices are outside the demonstration.

Updated August 19, 2026 · Educational — not a coverage decision

Meaning

KwikPen is a named injector presentation. On this site it matters because CMS listed Zepbound KwikPen — not 'Zepbound, any device' — on the GLP-1 Bridge.

Why the NDC matters

Pharmacies order by NDC. A PA written for a non-KwikPen Zepbound code is a PA for a product the demonstration does not include.

Other shelves

Commercial plans and LillyDirect cash may show additional Zepbound presentations. Those shelves do not widen Bridge.

Common error

Writing 'Zepbound' on the PA and discovering at pickup that the pen in stock is not the demonstration pen.

Questions

Does KwikPen change the $50?
No. It changes whether the product is in the demonstration at all.
Is Wegovy KwikPen-limited too?
Bridge lists Wegovy pen and pill. The KwikPen-only restriction is the Zepbound line. Still confirm NDC.
Can I inject a cash pen and bill Bridge?
No. The claim and the product have to match.
